The people of Welland depend on city services; city services depend on people to deliver them.
CUPE Local 1115 represents approximately 110 municipal, library and crossing guard workers at the City of Welland, Ontario. We work hard for the people of Welland and strive to provide exemplary service to our customers both in the public and business community. Our skilled members pride themselves in the experience, knowledge, and expertise they bring to the job. We touch almost every aspect of daily life while supporting a broad spectrum of municipal services including planning and development, building, engineering and infrastructure, traffic, parking, and bylaw, information technology, finance, communications, public works, crossing guards, library, clerks, and recreation, sport and culture.
CUPE Local 1115 supports inclusivity, respect, and equality for all. Our goal is to provide excellent service and value to the people of Welland, and create a great place to work.
CUPE Local 1115 respectfully acknowledges that we are on unceded Niagara territory, and in particular acknowledges the Anishinaabeg, Ojibway/Chippewa, and Haudenosaunee peoples, on whose ancestral lands we live, learn, and work.
